Our Founders
Deanna and Justin's decision to acquire the Uplifting Mansion was driven by a profound commitment to Milwaukee's vitality and a vision for creating a hub of innovation and community. As longtime residents, they saw an opportunity to preserve a piece of the city's architectural heritage while simultaneously propelling it into a future of positive change.
This purchase represents more than just a business venture; it's a family legacy, with their children actively involved in the Flying Elephant family of companies. The mansion serves as a gathering place where joy and inspiration can spread throughout the community, fostering connections and celebrating life's moments. Central to their vision is the support of entrepreneurship, particularly social enterprises that are working to make Milwaukee a better place for all. Uplifting Mansion now proudly houses Flying Elephant, the parent company of four impactful social enterprises: Uplifting Impact, Purposeful Hustle, Birth Coach Milwaukee, and Story to Tell Books.
